The following is a guide for installing Adobe Flash player on your Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 system. This will allow you to use websites which depend on flash to operate properly.
The Adobe Flash player is closed source proprietary software and as such goes against the spirit and intent of Debian, Linux and open source.
Debian already includes an open source alternative to Adobe Flash called Swfdec. You may like to see if that works well enough for you however it lacks the features and completeness of the Adobe version.
You should run a full update for your installation of Debian to ensure you have all the latest packages installed.
You will need a working internet connection.
On a normal desktop install of Debian the Swfdec package is installed as standard. We will need to remove this first to avoid conflict. Here are the steps.
1. Load up a terminal window if you are in the graphic interface.
2. Switch to the root user by entering the command su - and typing in your root password.
3. Type in the following command to remove the Swfdec plugin:
apt-get remove swfdec-mozilla
The installation instructions for Adobe Flash vary depending on if you are using the 32bit or 64bit version of Debian.
If you don't know which version you are running type in uname -a and view the output of this command. If you see x86_64 then you are running the 64bit version, on the other hand if you see i386 or i686 then you are running the 32bit version.
Here are the steps required to install Adobe Flash in the 32bit version of Debian.
1. Close any running web browser window.
2. Load up a terminal window.
3. Switch to the root user by entering the command su - and typing in your root password.
4. Execute the following four commands:
cd /tmp wget http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz tar -xzvf install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz mv libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
5. Now start your web browser and browse to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ to see if flash is functioning.
Here are the steps required to install Adobe Flash in the 64bit version of Debian. It should be noted that Adobe considers this version as alpha software. However it does seem to function quite well.
1. Close any running web browser window.
2. Load up a terminal window.
3. Switch to the root user by entering the command su - and typing in your root password.
4. Execute the following four commands:
cd /tmp wget http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.22.87.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz tar -xzvf libflashplayer-10.0.22.87.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz cp -a libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
5. Now start your web browser and browse to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ to see if flash is functioning.

Thanks for the guide ^^ only thing is, I get an error saying that the directory the command moves it to doesn't exist… So, do I create that directory? I mean, there's gonna be nothing in there except the .so file :/

The one you have Mentioned works for X86 intel processor.
